How to do Reiking and Chakras Alignment

How to do reiki

What is Reiki

Most of the world scoff at spiritualistic concepts; things that cannot be derived using mathematics.

Reiki is the union of two Japanese words, “Rei” (meaning “spiritual consciousness” or “spiritual intelligence”) and “Ki” (meaning “life force energy). The Chinese call this energy “Chi” and the same energy is known as “Prana” in Sanskrit. Together Rei + Ki are interpreted as “Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy” = Reiki.

To speak about Reiki one must speak of it’s founder Mikao Usui. Usui was born on August 15, 1865 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. He grew up in a Tendai Buddhist family and entered a monestary to study, where one of his studies was “Kiko” (the Japanese version of the Chinese “Chi Kung” or “Qikong”). Usui’s continued studies included medicine, philosophy, psychology, religion and metaphysics. He was renowned for his expertise and a well respected man.

Usui was known as a warm, simple and humble man who set out on a personal quest to find the ultimate purpose of life and seek enlightenment and growth. At one point he asked a Zen master how to attain life’s purpose. The master replied “If you want to know – die.” With that, Usui decided to climb climb Mount Kurama for a 21 day meditation and fast. This meditation is also know as “The Lotus Repentance” which originates in Tendai Buddhism. Mt. Kurama is known as a holy mountain near Kyoto and it is here that Usui was expecting a “Satori” (enlightenment).

My experience

The most important thing Reiki bestowed upon me is intuition.

Reiki is omnipresent for me, now that I have spend almost 8 years with it. I believe in Reiki and I am not emphasizing to make everyone believe that it is extant. Most of the world scoff at spiritualistic concepts; things that cannot be derived using mathematics. It has to be felt in order to understand it. It relives me from severe head aches and blocked nose when I catch cold; it puts me to sleep during my insomniac nights; cures my flu within 1.5 days. I know this is arguable that the disease might not have been too severe but this has happened each time I had any such problem.

The most important thing Reiki bestowed upon me is intuition. Fearlessly I would say most of the Reiki holders are intuitively strong. Most often, if your there any trouble round the corner, even if that is cities apart but something wrong with someone connected to you, you would be able to anticipate. I have a small excerpt from my old diary to share:

(Year : 2013) I had nasty day, I was dampened and could not sleep the entire night. I was going though a rough phase and that day was one the toughest days of the phase. During that time I used stay in hostel away from home. My parents, maternal grandparents are Reiki holders too. The next day, my mom called me to ask if everything was okay; separately my grandmom also called later that day. It was not a coincidence because both of them are strong women and so am I; devoid of melodramas of questions everyday if I am okay or not, instead we have straight conversations. I do not speak of my problems much because I live away from my parents and they might get really disturbed with that. Even that day I chose to say a firm ‘no’ and ‘nothing happened’. But till date it’s a quandary to me also, how they have individually thought that something is wrong with me. In my opinion its Reiki.

I have countless such experience, either I anticipated or my mom or my maternal aunt. Yes, most of my close relatives are Reiki holders too. I even have more that five instances from being saved from accidents which makes me wonder even today.

I believe and respect Reiki. As well, I respect the fact how warm and positive life is in the golden halo of Reiki.

Chakra Alignment

All our chakras are constantly spinning. We have a dominant one and its corresponding one is the weaker one. Sometimes our chakras, based on our own daily spiritual growth can become clogged or overactive.

There are seven major energy centers in the body known as ‘Chakras’. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means ‘wheel’. Therefore, a chakra is like a wheel spinning vortex that whirls in a circular motion forming a vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibratory level. The body does contain hundreds of other chakras that are instrumental to the operation of our existence.

Each of the seven main chakras are connected to specific organs, glands and body systems and each chakra is connected to a color vibration frequency. (These are outlined in more detail below). These energy centers are coded with information that can be in the form of a color vibration, ultra-violet ray, radio or micro wave, or to another person’s aura. Our chakras radiate energy vibrations as well as receive the energy of our environment, including the people we are in contact with. Have you ever noticed how another person’s mood effects your own?
